International Exchange Program

Willunga Waldorf School is proud to operate an exciting international program for all students.
Our International Exchange program is an approved program regulated by the Education Standards Board of the Government of South Australia. The exchange program provides the opportunity for High School students in Classes 10 and 11 to study overseas at fellow Waldorf Schools, and to host students from other countries in South Australia. With our strong Spanish program, students are well set to enjoy exchanges to Spanish speaking Waldorf schools, although exchanges to other counties can also be approved as well. The program aims to provide our students with:
- Educational enrichment through the development of language skills and intercultural understanding
- An experience of a different education setting and environment
Each International exchange lasts for six months, with our students studying abroad for a maximum of three months, and an International student staying with the host family in South Australia for a maximum of three months.
Tuition fees and accommodation costs are covered through the program however, you will need to cover flights, travel insurance, visa and passport processing fees (if applicable), and spending money.
Students and parents in Class 9 will receive a talk each year on the International Exchange program with full details of the application process.
